Step into a hands‑on leadership role where people, performance, and safety come together. As a Manufacturing Supervisor at Hitachi Energy in Jefferson City, MO, you will lead a team of production employees while ensuring manufacturing operations run safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
This role offers the opportunity to directly influence daily operations by coordinating work, developing talent, and driving continuous improvement. You will work closely with cross‑functional partners to solve production, technical, and logistics challenges while keeping a strong focus on quality, on‑time delivery, and resource optimization.

How you’ll make an impact
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
Assign, train, and coach employees to support performance goals
Execute production plans by scheduling work and managing priorities
Monitor KPIs related to safety, delivery, efficiency, and throughput
Track timekeeping and ensure accurate reporting for hourly employees
Analyze production data and communicate performance insights
Resolve operational challenges and support continuous improvement
Lead with clear communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your back‑ground
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of manufacturing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment
Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices; Six Sigma exposure is a plus
Ability to work all shifts and periodic weekends as needed
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with limited supervision
