
We are seeking an experienced Production Planning & Control (PPC) candidate with 8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, production scheduling, material planning, and cross-functional coordination. The role is responsible End to End Planning process, for ensuring smooth production flow, on-time delivery, optimal inventory management, and efficient utilization of plant resources.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and provide manufacturing slot plan for Sales new project quote
- Coordinate with sales & Project team for End to End project execution
- Develop and execute daily / weekly / monthly production plans based on customer demand and business priorities.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Production, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure material availability and uninterrupted production.
- Monitor production schedules vs actual output and drive corrective actions for delays or bottlenecks.
- Prepare capacity planning based on manpower, machine availability, and testing constraints.
- Track material shortages, supplier delays, and critical parts, and escalating risks proactively.
- Ensure on-time order execution (Work Order release) while maintaining production efficiency and delivery commitments.
- Analyze inventory levels, WIP, and finished goods stock to optimize working capital.
- Manage MRP / ERP transactions such as demand planning, production orders, reservations, and stock allocation.
- Lead production review meetings and provide MIS reports on plan adherence, backlog, and key KPIs.
- Work closely with engineering / project teams for new product introduction, revisions, and change management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge in Production Planning, Scheduling, and Inventory Control
- Experience in ERP systems (SAP must)
- Understanding of MRP, capacity planning, BOM, routing, and material flow
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good coordination and stakeholder management ability
- Proficiency in Excel / reporting dashboards / data analysis
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma concepts is an added advantage
Qualification:
- BE or B.Tech Engineering in Electrical, Electronic, Electronics & Instrumentation majors
Preferred Industry Experience:
- Manufacturing / Industrial Equipment / Automotive / Electrical / Electronics / Heavy Engineering
