We operate in a fully temperature-controlled facility, with daytime shifts Monday-Thursday (4-ten hour schedule) or Tuesday-Friday (4-ten hour schedule). Overtime may be required, depending on the needs of the company.

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Specialist I for Production. This is an entry-level role responsible for performing basic production tasks such as masking, final assembly, box build, hand coating/touching up, and hand potting. This position works under close supervision and compliance with safety protocols.

Job Summary

This position works under close supervision to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical or electronic assembly tasks following detailed instructions.
• Support masking, hand coating, and touch-up activities under supervision.
• Assist in box build and final assembly operations using standard tools.
• Prepare materials and work areas to support production flow.
• Inspect own work for obvious defects and report issues to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
• Perform other duties or support other areas as needed based on business requirements or production flow.

Key Metrics and Focus Areas

• Accuracy and quality of completed production tasks.
• Compliance with work instructions and safety procedures.
• Production efficiency and teamwork support.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to follow written instructions.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, documentation, and safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ITAR).
• Exposure to electronics assembly processes.

Physical Requirements / Essential Functions

• Ability to sit, stand, and use hands for extended periods.
• Visual acuity to detect defects and read instructions.
• Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
• Work with small parts, tools, and fixtures under supervision.

Working Hours are Monday - Thursday, or Tuesday through Friday, with all 10-hour shifts beginning at the following times:
