At Ophtapharm AG, we develop and manufacture high-quality ophthalmic medicines for patients around the world. As an FDA and EU-GMP certified pharmaceutical manufacturer, we are entering an exciting new phase of growth as we expand our Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) business.

Manufacturing Science & Technology Expert (80-100%)

As part of our MSAT Team, you will play a key role in ensuring robust, efficient, and compliant manufacturing processes across the product lifecycle. From process optimization to product transfers, your expertise will help bring new products into commercial production and support Ophtapharm's growth journey.

Your Role

• Drive manufacturing process support, implementation activities, and process changes across the product lifecycle.
• Analyze process performance data and turn insights into tangible improvements.
• Support process validation and continued process verification activities.
• Identify and implement process optimization initiatives together with cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical leadership for product transfers and manufacturing improvement projects.

Your Profile

• Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of experience within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing support, process validation, or process improvement.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes; sterile manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English and German.
