Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Your tasks

• Get the customer requirements to establish the quality inspection plan/documents and quality standard for final quality and process quality control in order to independently control.
• Review PQC and FQA inspection result daily and handle the nonconforming findings timely, handling quality issues on production line, work with production and engineering to implement corrective action and verify the effectiveness. Issue internal complaints if necessary.
• Handle customer complaints and customer return according to GMS process and lead investigation, complete 8D report and complain documentation.
• Lead the daily QRQC meeting with cross function team to solve key quality issues and track the results; Lead weekly Manufacturing Unit Quality meeting and report monthly Quality KPI’s to department Manager. Monitoring the quality KPI and driving continuous improvement to achieve the target.
• Lead Quality continuous improvement actions in the department and organize proper training and implementation of quality tools (FMEA, MSA, SPC, etc) with support of Quality organization.
• Prepare and co-ordinate all quality audits (internal external) and follow up on required actions and proposed improvements.
• Be a member of innovation team, for radio frequency new product introduction / transfer, participate in sample/pre-launch/mass run stage review, assess the documents, specification, customer requirement, production tools/equipment, control plan.
• Promote and develop SPC usage and Cpk review for all key processes.
• Give the technical quality training to FQA inspectors to improve the quality knowledge and skill.
• Lead the quality inspection team to perform the quality inspection in H+S according to the inspection instruction & quality standard.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree, majoring in mechanical or electronic.
• At least 5 years’ quality working experience with 3 years’ experience in manufacturing.
• Experience of dealing with customer complaints and internal complaints.
• Knowledge of quality tools.
• Solid technical product knowledge.
• Knowledge about production processes.
• Good communication with internal and external.
• Good Oral and written English.
