As a Manufacturing Quality Control Team Leader, you will guide and support a skilled inspection team to ensure that delivered goods meet our high standards before they ever reach production. You will shape processes, coach people, and continuously improve how incoming materials are inspected, documented, and released.
This role offers the chance to lead with influence, partner closely with suppliers and internal teams, and play a decisive role in protecting product integrity, safety, and customer satisfaction. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
How you’ll make an impact
Lead and support Incoming Quality Control inspectors across assigned shifts
Assign inspection workloads aligned with delivery and production priorities
Ensure timely inspection and release of incoming materials and components
Review and approve inspection results and material disposition decisions
Manage supplier nonconformances and containment actions
Partner with Supplier Quality, Purchasing, and Engineering on issue resolution
Support audits, calibration activities, and quality system compliance
Drive improvement using incoming quality data and performance trends
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field, or Associate degree with 5 years of incoming inspection experience
3–5 years of experience in manufacturing quality or incoming inspection
At least 1 year of team lead or supervisory experience
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T
Hands‑on experience with inspection tools and measurement equipment
Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills
