The role oversees workshop operations, quality assurance, and compliance within an Oil & Gas environment. The incumbent ensures all processes, safety standards, and quality requirements are met while supporting training, service delivery, and customer satisfaction. The position involves workshop responsibilities, including equipment maintenance.
Drive the implementation of Quality Improvement Plans to achieve zero defects, zero quality escapes, and reduce COPQ.
Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution and corrective actions.
Develop and standardize quality procedures, control plans, inspection plans, and work instructions.
Analyze quality data using statistical tools to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
Oversee NCR management, including tracking, closure, and performance reporting.
Ensure product compliance and release in accordance with organizational and customer requirements.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions to eliminate defects and process variability.
Conduct and coordinate internal audits and ensure adherence to QMS and regulatory requirements.
Supervise and manage QA/QC activities, including inspection planning and execution.
Maintain calibration systems for testing and measuring equipment (TMMDE).
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to drive quality improvements.
Ensure timely delivery of quality documentation and reports to customers.
Lead and develop the QA/QC team, including performance management and competency development.
Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and participate in related meetings and initiatives.
Support third-party inspections (TPI) and ensure alignment with Quality Control Plans (QCP).
Updating and maintaining QMS to meet Weatherford Global Quality requirement.
