Manufacturing QA Technician II

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Pay Rate: $29.00 per hour

Position Overview

A leading national grocery retailer seeks a Manufacturing QA Technician for a six-month onsite contract in the Phoenix, Arizona metro area. This position maintains food safety and quality standards throughout production through systematic inspection and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and random quality checks on production lines and finished products
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
• Identify and escalate non-conformances and initiate corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and applicable food safety regulations
• Calibrate and maintain quality testing equipment
• Collaborate with production supervisors to resolve quality issues in real time

Requirements

• 2+ years of QA or quality control experience in a food or manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP principles
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a production environment
• Availability for full onsite assignment in the Phoenix metro area

Preferred Qualifications

• Quality certification (ASQ CQT or equivalent)
• Experience with FSMA regulations
• Familiarity with statistical quality tools (SPC)
