The opportunity

Project Engineering focuses on designing, communicating, and implementing an operational plan for completing an engineering-based project including: Preparing designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and/or commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, equipment, etc. Monitoring progress and performance against the project plan; taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Identifying, developing, and gathering the resources necessary to complete the project.

  • May include preparing engineering standards, designs and work specifications; developing project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors A Manager (M3) manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments. Responsibilities typically include, Policy and strategy implementation for short-term results (1 year or less). Problems faced are difficult to moderately complex. Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures.

  • The Role requires Expansive Design and Engineering Knowledge and Competency in the Domain of HV Switchgears.

  • He will be required to Lead the Design and Engineering Effort and manage the Engineer team and as well lead the Development and Transformation of the Portfolio of High Voltage Circuit Breakers.

  • He will be required to Define and Lead the relevant Type testing of the products involved, relevant Transfer of Products, Management of the ERP Configurators and Engineering Information Database for the Unit .

  • He will also lead the collaboration efforts with the various Local and Global Technical Interfaces in the R & D and Technology teams and lead the overall secondary engineering as well for the Operating Unit.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Should have Electrical Engineer degree with total 10-13 years of experience.

  • He will be required to Lead the Design and Engineering Effort and manage the Engineer team and as well lead the Development and Transformation of the Portfolio of High Voltage Circuit Breakers.

  • Identifying, developing, and gathering the resources necessary to complete the project.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
