Potential Annual Pay with Bonus

Year End Bonus

As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • one year of Manufacturing experience, Production Planning experience, or equivalent experience through college course work
  • willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays and the ability to be on-call 24 hours per day/7 days per week
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • excellent customer service skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of people
  • excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in an analytical field or equivalent experience
  • three years of experience in Production Management, Logistics Planning or supporting Publix Mfg SAP Production Planning processes
  • SAP experience in the area of forecasting, production scheduling, inventory management and procurement
  • knowledge of relevant manufacturing operations
  • in-depth knowledge of the master data that drives forecasting, planning, production scheduling, shipping functionality and process in SAP
  • strong knowledge of Publix Manufacturing’s operational processes
  • knowledge of Corporate Transportation’s transportation guidelines for appointments and backhauls
  • knowledge of planning, inventory management, production scheduling, line balancing and Publix Manufacturing’s procurement and accounting policies and principles
  • strong knowledge of mathematics and statistical data analysis
  • knowledge of all plant Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • knowledge of the storage and inventory guidelines of distribution, and
  • Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM from American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).
