Job Description

Renesas Electronics is looking for a Production Control Support Specialist to provide critical on-site support to wafer fabrication manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient material flow, inventory control, and production readiness. This role partners cross-functionally with manufacturing, planning, and supply chain teams to maintain operational continuity and drive process improvements within a dynamic fab environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide real-time, on-site support for daily wafer fabrication manufacturing activities to ensure uninterrupted production flow
  • Manage and maintain starting materials inventory, including tracking, stocking, and ensuring availability to meet production schedules
  • Support production planning activities by coordinating material readiness and assisting with schedule execution
  • Interface with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution
  • Create and manage purchase requisitions in support of production and inventory needs
  • Maintain and update manufacturing systems, databases, and tracking tools to ensure data accuracy and visibility
  • Support fab hygiene and cleanliness standards in compliance with cleanroom protocols
  • Identify, recommend, and help implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize material flow
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality

Qualifications

  • Associate degree (2-year) or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented team player capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Access (data tracking, reporting, and analysis)
  • Experience with manufacturing systems (e.g., ERP/MRP, MES) is preferred
  • Prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer fabrication, or high-tech production environments is a plus
  • Familiarity with inventory control, production support, or supply chain coordination is preferred

Additional Information

Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

This position is 100% onsite in Palm Bay, FL.

This is an ITAR role - the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Person.
