Location: West Greenwich, RI 02817 (Night Shift)
Employment Type Contract
Duration 12 months with likely extensions or conversion to FTE

Rate: $25-30/hr DOE
Note:  Night shift position 12hr (7pm) rotational shift
The shift is 1845 - 0700. It is the 2-3-2 schedule. Two days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off. Including holidays and every other weekend.

3 Key Consulting is hiring a Manufacturing Process Technician for a consulting engagement with our direct client, a leading global bio-pharmaceutical company.


Responsibilities include: Following written Standard Operating Procedures in the Hands-on operation, set-up, cleaning, building filters and other similar equipment. Dispensing of raw materials into secondary containers as required. Operating washers and autoclave units to prepare equipment for process use. Provide feedback on improving standard operating procedures. Review and execute validation protocols. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment. Identify, recommend, and implement improvements related to routine functions Perform basic troubleshooting. Assist in the review of documentation for assigned functions (equipment logs, batch records). Strong attention to detail required to ensure proper operations and documentation. Plant operates 24/7 so there are no holidays unless dictated by the production schedule;
Skills: degree in Biology/Life Sciences and/ or relevant work experience a major plus, not a requirement.

Must be able to lift 25lbs


Top Must have Skill Sets:
  • Able to work 12 hour shifts (Nights) - previous night shift experience
  • Strong attention to detail and proven team player
  • 1+ Year of GMP knowledge and some experience via school or work

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
  • Computer work (MES - SAP- ERP - label creation - submit work orders)
  • Small parts assembly, cleaning/Autoclaving and bagging sterile parts
  • Documenting activities in systems or in record books (EUR)
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling light loads
  • Utilize Powered industrial trucks (PITs), pallet jacks and carts
  • Weighing and dispensing of raw materials
  • Attend daily/nightly shift workload and safety meeting
  • Adhere to work scheduling and planning, ability to trouble shoot issues and problems
  • Ability to communicate with peers, other groups and leadership
