This is your role. What part will you play?
o Develop and implement digital solutions to improve manufacturing productivity, quality, traceability, and process visibility.
o Use Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query, Lists, and Forms to digitize shopfloor processes and reporting.
o Develop dashboards and automated reports for real-time monitoring of manufacturing KPIs.
o Automate data collection, analysis, and reporting to reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy.
o Convert manufacturing data into actionable insights for continuous improvement.
o Understand basic concepts of Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, Connected Factory, and Digital Shopfloor.
o Identify opportunities to digitize manual manufacturing processes and improve process visibility.
o Understand and apply IoT/IIoT, sensors, data acquisition, and machine connectivity concepts.
o Develop basic real-time monitoring, dashboards, alerts, and digital KPI systems.
o Understand PLC, HMI, SCADA, MES/MOM, ERP/SAP, and their role in connected manufacturing.
o Identify opportunities for automation, digital work instructions, paperless processes, and smart workstations.
o Support implementation of AGV/AMR, digital power tools, smart sensors, vision systems, and connected equipment.
o Use manufacturing data to identify losses, bottlenecks, downtime, productivity gaps, and improvement opportunities.
o Support integration of Lean Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 to achieve measurable business improvements.
o Maintain focus on data accuracy, cybersecurity, user adoption, and sustainability while implementing digital solutions.
o Develop and use Digital Twin and simulation models for manufacturing processes.
o Perform process, layout, capacity, material-flow, and bottleneck simulations.
o Analyze operator movement, process flow, capacity constraints, and automation opportunities using simulation tools.
o Support virtual validation of new processes, layouts, and manufacturing concepts.
o Support integration of MES/MOM, ERP/SAP, IoT, and shopfloor systems.
o Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, IT, Quality, and external technology partners.
o Support projects from concept, feasibility, and business case through FAT, SAT, commissioning, and handover.
o Establish KPIs to monitor the effectiveness and benefits of digital and automation initiatives.
o Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for digital transformation and automation.
o Develop standards, guidelines, technical documentation, and training for digital manufacturing solutions.
o Promote data-driven decision-making and digital ways of working across manufacturing.
o Share best practices and build digital manufacturing capabilities within the organization.
o Strong understanding of Industry 4.0, Digital Manufacturing, Digital Twin, Digital Shopfloor and Smart Factory concepts.
o Hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query, and manufacturing data analytics.
o Knowledge of MES/MOM, ERP/SAP, databases, and system integration.
o Understanding of PLC, HMI, SCADA, robotics, sensors, industrial networks, and automation systems.
o Exposure to automation, AGV/AMR, robotics, digital work instructions, traceability, and connected machines.
o Exposure to AI/ML, simulation, predictive analytics, or advanced manufacturing analytics is preferred.
o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
o Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
o Ability to work effectively with Manufacturing, Engineering, IT, Quality, and external technology partners.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
o Hands-on and action-oriented approach to solving manufacturing problems.

o Action-oriented approach with strong analytical thinking and technical troubleshooting skills.
o You are a B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
o You have 7–8 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, automation, digital manufacturing, or Industry 4.0.
o Experience in switchgear, electrical equipment, heavy engineering, or discrete manufacturing is preferred.
o You have hands-on experience with Power BI / Power Platform and manufacturing data analytics.
o You have good working knowledge of MS Office and digital manufacturing tools.
o You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
