Establish and continuously improve the standardized processes connecting GSI Operations and Manufacturing Units.

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Establish standard work and governance.
  • Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional process alignment.
  • Drive continuous improvement / Lean initiatives.
  • Establish process compliance and maturity assessments.
  • Support digitalization and standardization of operational tools.
  • Ensure lessons learned are implemented across Manufacturing Units.

  • GSI–Manufacturing process framework.
  • Standard operating procedures.
  • Governance and escalation model.
  • Process maturity assessments.
  • Continuous improvement roadmap.

Candidate Requirements

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Management, Project Management or a related field.

Years of Experience

  • Minimum: 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, operational excellence, or process improvement roles.
  • Ideal: Experience in multi-site manufacturing environments where standardization and cross-functional alignment were key objectives.

Technical Skills & Background

  • Operational Excellence: expertise in Lean methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping) and process design.
  • Governance & Standardization: Proven experience in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process frameworks, and establishing governance models (roles, responsibilities, and escalation paths).
  • Digitalization: Experience supporting the transition from manual processes to digital tools.
  • Process Auditing: Experience designing and executing process maturity assessments and capability models to track organizational progress.
  • Change Management: Ability to drive adoption of new standards across diverse business units and influence stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
  • Tool Proficiency:
  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas).
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) for building and maintaining executive-level dashboards.
  • Reporting: Proven ability to synthesize complex operational data into concise, high-level presentations for executive leadership.

Core Competencies

  • Systems Thinking: Ability to see the "big picture" and ensure that process improvements at the local level align with the global manufacturing framework.
  • Facilitation: Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and lead workshops to identify process gaps and "lessons learned."
  • Strategic Planning: Competency in building multi-year continuous improvement roadmaps.
  • Analytical & Data-Driven: Ability to use performance data to prioritize improvement opportunities and validate maturity assessments.
  • Permanent UK Work Permit required
