About the Position

Höganäs in North America is seeking a Process Engineer to work at our Hollsopple, PA plant.  This position is responsible for supporting, developing, improving, and monitoring the manufacturing processes to ensure the successful and cost-effective production of iron powder.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Troubleshoots, recommends, and develops solutions through equipment or process changes that reduce costs, increase production, and improve quality, environment, and safety.
  • Educates production members on proper operation of equipment and preventative maintenance.
  • Develops equipment FMEAs and recommends, purchases, and coordinates parts, equipment, and services.
  • Ensures all quality assurance guidelines are followed through the manufacturing process.
  • Provides management reports as requested.
  • Maintains inventory in M3 and works with Supply Chain to establish reorder points.
  • Investigates accidents and customer complaints and identifies root causes and provides corrective actions.
  • Schedule and oversee subcontractors including the completion of contractor pre-task planning, EHS review, and contractor passport.
  • Maintains a safe working environment for themselves and others.
  • Actively exhibits leadership capabilities in all aspects of their work.
  • Displays conscious awareness of what is required to ensure a sustainable Höganäs.

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with preferably demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in writing detailed engineering reports. Computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
