About the Role

As a Parts Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our plant operates efficiently by managing the day-to-day operation of the parts storeroom. Your primary focus will be ensuring the right parts and materials are available when needed, minimizing downtime and supporting the successful execution of the plant's maintenance plan.

Working closely with Maintenance, Production, and Scheduling teams, you'll manage inventory levels, coordinate parts procurement, and maintain accurate inventory data within SAP. This position is crucial in helping the plant achieve its operational, reliability, and customer service goals.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the purchasing, receiving, and stocking of repair parts and operating supplies to support plant operations.
  • Maintain optimal spare parts inventory levels, balancing working capital requirements with operational reliability.
  • Ensure critical parts are available to prevent unplanned downtime and production interruptions.
  • Operate and maintain an organized, efficient storeroom that provides excellent service to Maintenance, Production, and Scheduling teams.
  • Partner with the Maintenance Planner to coordinate parts ordering and deliveries in line with scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Prioritize parts requirements to support urgent maintenance needs and reduce equipment downtime.
  • Identify opportunities to control costs through effective planning, inventory management, alternative sourcing, and supplier relationships.
  • Create and maintain parts records within SAP, ensuring accurate material requirements planning (MRP) data, classifications, and metadata.
  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of inventory records and the CMMS database.
  • Collaborate closely with mechanics and other plant personnel to source and support parts requirements for maintenance and project activities.

About You

We're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You take ownership of your responsibilities, enjoy solving problems, and are committed to delivering results.

Qualifications & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of inventory management, maintenance planning support, or storeroom experience required.
  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), preferably SAP.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Maintenance, Production, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and lift heavier items with appropriate assistance.

What Makes You Successful

  • You take ownership and follow through on commitments.
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.
  • You are proactive, resourceful, and focused on continuous improvement.
  • You balance attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency.
  • You are motivated by making a tangible impact on plant performance and reliability.

At Flora Food Group, we'll give you the freedom, responsibility, and support to make an impact, grow your skills, and build a rewarding career.
