Responsibilities

Responsible for executing diverse tasks related to the production and release of materials during the manufacturing of products for human consumption, while complying with applicable procedures, regulations and following good manufacturing practices. Basic Qualifications

Associate Degree or higher in Science or Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or other related technical field (Technical degrees such as engineering, instrumentation, science, or applied mechanics). At least 6 months of experience in pharmaceutical operations and tablets compression. Additional Skills/Preferences

Bilingual (English/Spanish), teamwork oriented, good interpersonal and customer service skills. Candidate must have a strong compliance mindset and sound judgment. Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under supervision. Available to support a 7/24 operation in rotating shifts.

    Education:
    The student must be enrolled at an accredited institution pursuing a bachelors, masters or doctorate degree in any of the following majors:

    •Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Computer)

    •Pharmacy

    •Chemistry

    •Biochemistry

    •Biology

    •Microbiology

    •Industrial Biotechnology

    •Industrial Hygiene

    •Accounting, Finance, Materials Management or related fields

    •Human Resources, Labor Legislation, Psychology or other human behavior fields

    Please note that for bachelor’s degrees, candidates must be in their 3rd year as a minimum. Although a GPA of 3.50 or higher is preferred, a GPA of 3.00 is considered the minimum requirement.


    Availability:
    Must be available to work 40 hours per week (full-time) for a minimum of 20 weeks. Based on individual performance and the needs of the organization, the COOP period for each student can last up to 5 months.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$12.98 - $29.09

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
