Job Purpose:
Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations of Gateway Factory to deliver outstanding performance across Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, and People. As a member of Factory Leadership Team, drive operational excellence, organizational capability, and factory transformation to ensure sustainable business growth and competitiveness.
Main Responsibilities :
Manufacturing Operations Leadership
• Lead manufacturing operations across all production areas to achieve safety, quality, service, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Ensure efficient utilization of people, equipment, materials, and manufacturing resources.
• Deliver production plans aligned with customer demand and business priorities.
• Drive operational discipline and performance management through effective governance and KPI reviews.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
• Ensure manufacturing operations are conducted in compliance with all safety, quality, food safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner closely with SHE and Quality teams to strengthen compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Drive a culture of ownership and accountability for safety and quality performance across manufacturing teams.
Operational Excellence & Productivity
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, efficiency, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Drive manufacturing performance through TPM, Lean Manufacturing, digitalization, and data-driven problem solving.
• Improve asset utilization and Overall Equipment Effectiveness through structured loss elimination programs.
Process & Capability Development
• Lead manufacturing capability improvement through coaching, technical development, and operational excellence programs.
• Partner with Process Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence teams to strengthen process robustness and operational standards.
• Build future-ready manufacturing capabilities to support business growth and operational transformation.
People & Organization Leadership
• Lead and develop frontline manufacturing leaders and teams to create a high-performing and engaged organization.
• Drive talent management, succession planning, capability building, and workforce effectiveness across manufacturing operations.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning.
Warehouse & End-to-End Factory Performance
• Ensure effective coordination between production and warehouse operations to support customer service and inventory performance.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to optimize factory-wide operational performance and service delivery.
Factory Leadership & Business Partnership
• Act as a key member of Factory Leadership Team, contributing to factory strategy, business planning, and transformation initiatives.
• Own manufacturing productivity and cost performance to support factory financial commitments.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, HR, Finance, and Manufacturing Excellence teams to achieve business objectives.
• Maintain constructive employee and industrial relations, supporting a positive and productive workplace environment.
Skill & Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience with substantial leadership responsibility.
• Proven experience leading production operations in FMCG, Food, Beverage, Consumer Goods, or related manufacturing environments.
• Strong track record in manufacturing excellence, productivity improvement, cost management, and operational transformation.
• Experience leading large frontline organizations and developing leadership capability.
• Experience working within a unionized manufacturing environment is an advantage.
