Manufacturing Manager
Location: Cikarang, Indonesia
Working Model: On-site
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
In your first year, you will lead the site’s productivity agenda, driving measurable improvements in overall equipment effectiveness and operational efficiency. This role is crucial to closing performance gaps in manufacturing that directly impact cost, quality, and service levels. By leading continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of ownership on the factory floor, you enable Flora Food Group to deliver better food more efficiently to kitchens everywhere. Your work ensures that our ingredients and processes meet the highest standards of reliability and sustainability.
You will own key performance indicators including safety, quality, overall equipment effectiveness, reliability, conversion cost, and asset utilization. Your data-driven decisions and leadership will reduce breakdowns, improve maintenance compliance, and create measurable savings. Success means higher service levels and a more productive, cost-effective manufacturing site.
This role reports to the Head of Factory Indonesia and leads a cross-functional team focused on factory performance improvement, standards deployment, and capability building. You will foster a culture of safety and operational ownership, working closely with multiple departments to ensure sustainable, long-term improvements. Your leadership will build a resilient operation that supports Flora Food Group’s commitment to doing the right thing every day for our people and communities.
You are passionate about food manufacturing and innovation, constantly seeking ways to raise the bar in taste, nutrition, and functionality through operational excellence. Your curiosity about process improvements and equipment reliability drives you to deliver better food outcomes. You take pride in your craft and believe that every improvement in the factory contributes to the quality and sustainability of the food we bring to tables worldwide.
You bring strong manufacturing experience in fast-moving consumer goods or food industries, with proven success in leading equipment effectiveness and operational excellence programs. You are a hands-on leader who spends time on the shop floor, coaching and developing your team with integrity. Your analytical mindset and data-driven approach enable you to solve complex problems and influence cross-functional stakeholders. You thrive in a collaborative environment and have a continuous improvement mindset. Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, you are comfortable using manufacturing systems like SAP PM and Power BI.
You are genuinely interested in food culture and curious about how consumer behaviour and future food trends shape innovation. You understand that strong brands are built by anticipating what’s next in taste, nutrition and functionality, and by translating insight into meaningful consumer experiences.
This role typically leads to becoming Head of Factory at the Cikarang site, offering a clear path to senior leadership within manufacturing operations. Over time, you will expand your influence on operational strategy and business results, shaping the future of Flora Food Group’s production capabilities.
If this opportunity sounds exciting, we'd love to hear from you.
