Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First-Line Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to support 2nd Shift 737 Wings WSI in Renton, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages IAM represented employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
• Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
• Acquires resources, provides technical management, leads process improvements and problem solving activities
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
• Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• This manager position requires you to have a minimum of one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership
• 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniques
• Proficient using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Must be willing to work any shifts

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
• 1+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data
• 3+ years in Manufacturing/Aerospace Management
• 1+ years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)
• Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles

Shift:

This role is primarily 2nd shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

Successful candidate for this job must satisfy the company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
