Primary function of the role is leading Powder and Spray Dry team across 3 shifts to achieve the daily operational requirements of Safety, Quality, Performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement and asking “What If.” This role also sits on the Operations Leadership Team and is a key driver of site culture and improvement activity.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

People Management

  • Manage production team by coordinating goals setting for direct reports, regularly coaching and supervising their activities, and evaluating their performance.
  • Continuously improve capability of the team by setting up and implementing personal development plan, provide adequate training. Evaluate staff performance periodically and provide proper recommendation to motivate their potential capability. Ensure they can improve their job knowledge and management skill.

Customer Service & Quality:

  • Manage production resources with optimized production and streamline schedule to provide cost-effective and high quality product to meet the requirements timely as dictated by customer, commercial and market
  • Drive operation tools (5S, Buffer management, IP, 6-Sigma, continuously improvement) roll-out in responsible areas.

Process Improvement & Projects:

  • Optimize shop floor efficiency to increase throughput, decrease operating expense and decrease inventory. Monitor and control the progress and effectiveness of corrective actions taken
  • Initiate, lead, supervise or participate in task-forces and special projects to improve overall plant performance.
  • Introduce and supervise corrective actions in area of quality where necessary.

Cost & Profitability:

  • Budget, monitor and control production expenses and headcount. Support to develop and manager short/long term plan of manufacturing capacity based on operation strategy and business growth Budget planning and control

GMP, HACCP

  • Promote GMP, HACCP & Quality concept in production area.

Analysis and Continuous Improvement:

  • Maintain production statistics and generate production reports as required
  • Review KPIS periodically to keep continuously improving Safety, Quality and Quality System, Inventory Loss, Manufacturing cost etc.
  • Lead and participate in certain aspects of the plant’s continuous improvement projects

ESH and Sustainability Compliance

  • Monitor and ensure all processes are finished by proper employees with safety manner.
  • Support and present ESH audits, meetings and conversation, and follow up any correction to keep improving the OH&S system.

SOP administration management

  • Create, update, and maintain SOPs as required to ensure compliance with IFF policies, as well as local and global governmental regulations

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Degree of bachelor with engineering background
  • 10+ years’ working experience of production management
  • Good understanding of SAP
  • Good safety/quality management knowledge
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills to handle work challenges

  • Proven ability to lead teams and influence change
