Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
1. Execute daily line maintenance activities pertaining to equipment repair event and process monitoring.
2. Conduct scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) on production equipment and ensure timely updates to the preventive maintenance schedule within Indysoft.
3. Administer process operating document training and certification for production operators.
4. Provide support to Engineering in the execution of equipment qualification activities, including equipment setup and testing.
5. Perform 5S housekeeping practices and address safety hazards related to production equipment or work areas.
6.Conduct daily shift pass-downs to communicate areas of concern and equipment issues to the team.
7. Perform daily inspections and provide timely updates for Organization Alignment and Prioritization (OAPP)/ fabriq events as assigned.
8. Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing line or plant equipment.
9. Identify and diagnose malfunctions, replace faulty components, and perform fundamental troubleshooting utilizing standard electronic equipment, detailed schematics, diagrams, sketches, specifications, blueprints, manuals, and both verbal and written instructions.
10. Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
11. Potentially redesign optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems for integration into existing manufacturing equipment.
12. Experience in laser processes & equipment.
Supports qualification and validation activities for products and processes in line with project schedules, and provides production follow-up until pass-off requirements are achieved. Contributes to process improvement initiatives through IQ, OQ, and PQ execution, and supports development-related activities as needed. Works cross-functionally with Transfer Engineering and Operations to evaluate, install, characterize, qualify, and validate manufacturing processes, product changes, and production lines. Coordinates validation activities on assigned lines, provides training to operators and technical support teams during IQ/OQ/PQ execution, and supports technical issue resolution, non-conformity management, continuous improvement efforts, and Operation Excellence initiatives.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
Diploma / ITC / NTC in Engineering, a technical certification or equivalent or, Secondary education with working experience in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum 2 - 5 years relevant experience in equipment installation and maintenance in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronics, pneumatic and programmable logic controller (PLC).
Experience in the application of the protocols of validation and/or tests of validation produced.
Preferably with experience in handling nonconforming products.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
Knowledge of ISO13485 and/or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is a plus
Familiar with MS Office tools.
Coaching skills to act as a local technology mentor.
