
Reports To: Supervisor, Maintenance
Manages repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipments and utilities including:
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electronic equipment, tools, and instruments
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing facilities infrastructure
• Making/machining replacement tools and parts for manufacturing operations
• Planning and prioritizing work orders and scheduling overall repair and maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and disruptions
The Maintenance Technician 3 is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of manufacturing equipment at our facility. This role requires a higher level of technical expertise and autonomy compared to a lower level maintenance technician, with a focus on complex troubleshooting, repairs, continuous improvement, and mentoring.
• Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on sophisticated manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems independently
• Contribute to root-cause analysis efforts to prevent recurring equipment issues
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to entry-level technicians
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FDA regulations, GMP, ISO standards, and safety protocols
• Utilize and maintain accurate records in computerized maintenance management systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime
• Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• 3+ years of related experience — Intermediate to advanced level troubleshooting, schematic and print reading, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls experience required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electro-mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing of electro-mechanical systems
• Associate’s Degree perferred with experience in electro-mechanical, high-speed manufacturing maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience working in a cGMP/Regulated environment desired
• Able to read ladder logic and troubleshoot/repair PLC’s, electrical systems, AC/DC drive systems, and mechanical systems desired
• Proficiency in machining, welding, and fabricating a plus
• Basic Computer Skills required; must be experienced and proficient in the use of email, Windows Operating Systems, and basic Microsoft Office tools (specifically Word & Excel)
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Associate’s Degree perferred with experience in electro-mechanical, high-speed manufacturing maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems
