Job Description

Introduction to the job

Our vision is well completing the rigging and delivering support on factory materials/products on time delivery, managing 3rd party operations, and continuously improving for operational excellence, to fulfill customer demands and expectations.

Role and responsibilities

To be responsible for executing the rigging operations and the entire material/ product handling process in the factory, the warehouses and the field, and continuous improvement to achieve targets and drive performance.

  • The handling process may cover from uncrating, hoisting, unpacking, inspection/registering/cleaning, picking/kitting, delivering to point of use, pre-cleaning/prepacking, crating, stuffing to truck/container to fixing/lashing before shipping, as well as reporting operational data into systems.
  • Identify, solve and escalate disturbances (such as issues during material flow, damaged materials/products or administrative error in
  • system).
  • Continuous improvement on rigging operations and warehouse operations, from identifying opportunities, through being involved in projects/kaizens, realizing benefits and to sharing best practices.
  • Being a key role for safety, quality and productivity/cost initiatives to achieve targets and drive performance.
  • Mentoring and training by acting as a buddy to new team members during on-boarding, and by providing OJT (on-job training) based on work instructions.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • Major in Engineering, Supply Chain or Logistics-related.
  • 2+ years working experience with hands-on warehouse, logistics or production operations.
  • Experience with cleanroom, and lashing is preferred.
  • Experience with 3PL management is a plus.

Skills

  • Professional rigging, including uncrating, hoisting, unpacking, inspection/registering/ cleaning, picking/kitting, delivering to point of use, pre-cleaning/ prepacking, crating, stuffing to truck/container to fixing/lashing before shipping.
  • Operational data reporting into systems.
  • Knowledge and hands-on operations of SAP system.
  • Basic level with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Able to communicate and present fluently in Mandarin.
  • Safety and quality concept is critical for this position to perform tasks and contribute to performance.
  • Problem solving by RCA (root cause analysis) and CAPA (corrective action, preventive action).
  • Certificates of Forklift and certificate of Crane are preferred.
  • Able to read and write daily operational emails in English.
  • Able to work in a dynamic practical environment and perform well under pressure.
  • Cross-functional communications and warehouse management experience.
  • Courageous to challenge and proactively to give and seek constructive feedback.
  • Able to work independently, act as a flexible team player with good communication skills.

Other information

Able to work shifts (day shift, middle shift, night shift) and overtime when requested. 10% Travel.
