Manufacturing Logistics Coordinator

The Role:

Our site in Hillsboro, Oregon is seekingaLogisticsSpecialistto join our team.In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating all daily shipping activities along with the timely completion of the corresponding shipping transactions.You willwork closely withcarriers and logistics service providers to ensure schedules areexecuted timely and in compliance with US import/export regulations.In this role, youwill workclosely with individuals in other groups such as Production Planning, Quality, Shipping Operations & Customer Service to effectively meet customer and Entegris shipping requirementsandexpectations.

WhatYou’llDo

• Book, schedule and coordinate weekly shipments with carriers or freight forwarders and communicateschedules timely   

• Create shipping order packets and corresponding shipping documents for all shipmentswith accuracy

• Ensure timely preparation of all documentation based on the shipping schedule for the dayand complete transactions in SAP to meetontimeshipment standards

• Schedule and coordinate receiving from local vendors and suppliers for theHillsboromanufacturing plant 

• Reviewsfreight quotesandmake shipping recommendations and/or decisions 

• Analyze inventory levels, sales orders, sales forecasts, and manufacturing capacity to build and implement a weekly shipping schedule.

• Reduce costs by analyzing logistics data to improve efficiency,negotiatingwith carriers, andoptimizingroutes. 

• Measure and report key metrics (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives as required 

• Support hazardous material shipmentsout ofthe Hillsboroplant.

• Support shipment of materials that are outside of SAP inventory

• Respond to audit inquiries and address findings accurately and timely 

• Document and/or update departmentalworkinstructions, Standard Operating Procedures and RACIs as needed or required

• Optimizeinbound and outbound shipments to/from the 3PL warehousedaily

• Coordinatewith warehouse providers and couriersto investigatedelayed inbound and outbound shipments.

• Conduct data maintenance oftheERPsystem to ensureaccuratedata and visibility to the Entegris supply chain.

• Identifyand drivecost saving projects.

• Supportnew warehouse deployment projects as needed.   

• Report andsubmitmonthly, quarterly, and annual reports to align with compliance requirements.    

• Lead and coordinatequality investigations with internal and external parties to drive continuous improvements.  

What We Seek

• 3-5 years of experience inlogisticsplanning, factory planning, or manufacturing operations experience

• BS/BA in Supply ChainLogisticsand/or Business or equivalent experience.

• Sophisticated knowledge andexperience workingwithdata entry.

• Skilled in managing complex scheduling processes and procedures.  

• Problem-solving skills to handle delays, damages, or discrepancies in shipments.

• Knowledge of bestlogisticspractices  

• Team orientated, analytical, proactive, with a strong abilityto execute.  

• Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  

• Experience with ERP systems.  

• Strong oral,written, and verbalcommunication skills

• Ability to work independently and make data-centered decisions with quick turnaround times.

• Reliableattendance

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:  

• Experience with SAP ERP  

• Experience with Power BI  

• The ability to build and foster relationships with business partners and collaboration through influencing and negotiation skills  

• Experiencewithlogisticsand regulations for overseas shipments.
