Job Description

greenteg AG offers high-tech thermal sensing solutions for an international customer base.

Besides marketing industrial sensors for laser power metering and for assessing insulation properties of buildings, we also offer a unique core body temperature measurement solution (CALERA®) for wearable devices. The technology empowers customers with a wide range of innovative applications such as improving sports performance, continuous and non-invasive patient monitoring, ovulation tracking, sleep analysis or early detection of diseases.

The company develops, manufactures, and markets all solutions at our headquarters in Zürich-Rümlang.

We are looking for a hands-on intern to support our production team in sensor manufacturing and post-processing operations. The position combines machine operation, manual assembly, measurements, and chemical cleaning processes in an industrial environment.

The internship offers a strong practical exposure to manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and controlled chemical handling procedures.

Tasks

The intern will support daily production of microsensors through a combination of machine operation, manual assembly, measurement and laboratory cleaning processes. The role focuses on executing standardized procedures while ensuring product quality and traceability of sensors through a combination of machine operation, manual assembly, measurement and laboratory cleaning processes.

Main activity areas:

  • Production operations: preparation and setup of production panels, operation of assembly equipment and soldering processes, in-process electrical/functional checks, and traceability documentation across multiple manufacturing steps.
  • Soldering processes: execution of multi-stage soldering cycles including manual and reflow operations.
  • Process monitoring: electrical measurements and validation at defined checkpoints, handling of PCB panels, and reporting of detected deviations.
  • Cleaning & recovery: component removal, multi-step cleaning, rinsing, and controlled drying to prepare parts for reintegration into the workflow.
  • Quality & safety: anomaly detection and reporting, documentation of results, and compliance with safety and PPE procedures.
