The following list of job tasks and machine tools and equipment used is intended to be a representative example of the classification and may not include all of the functions of the classification.

JOB TASK LIST

1. Diagnose problems in hydraulic and mechanically operated machinery.
2. Repair and maintain all in-house equipment.
3. Diagnose problems in electrical motor control circuits.
4. Repair above equipment with components as required.
5. Repair/replace electrical components, relays, solenoids, switches, fuses, etc.
6. Operate material handling equipment.
7. Building maintenance as required.
8. Install additional equipment or move existing equipment with necessary support hookups.
9. Other duties as assigned by supervision.
10. Record labor accurately.
11. Perform quality audit process and update workorder with notes upon job completion.
12. Clean work area where work was performed.
13. Clean and organize shop daily.
14. Inspect and service cranes, forklifts, and other items needed.
15. Adhere to all company safety and environmental policies, procedures, preferred work methods, and actively participate in safety training and initiatives

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. On job experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and motor cont.
3. Trade school courses in hydraulics and electric motor cont.
