Designed and engineered to last for decades, our brands carry forward standards established more than 80 years ago. Rooted in precision, craftsmanship, and uncompromising performance, they support how people cook, gather, and live.
Our story began when founder Westye Bakke sought a reliable way to store life-saving insulin for his young son. That urgency sparked a breakthrough in refrigeration and led to the founding of Sub-Zero Freezer Company in 1945. Bakke's commitment to quality continues under third-generation family leadership today.
