Job Location: Commercial Sewing, Inc. - Torrington, CT 06790Improve Processes. Support Production. Drive Results.
Commercial Sewing is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Technician to help improve manufacturing operations, support production teams, and implement process improvements throughout our facility.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems on the production floor, analyzing workflows, and finding practical ways to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Analyze production processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Conduct time studies and workflow evaluations
- Support production teams by troubleshooting process issues
- Develop and update work instructions and process documentation
- Assist with new product launches and manufacturing readiness
- Support tooling, fixture, and workstation improvements
- Collect and analyze production performance data
- Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams

Qualifications
- Associate's degree, technical degree, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 3-7 years of manufacturing, process improvement, or engineering technician experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a production environment
- Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
- CAD experience helpful but not required
