Job Description

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role focuses on implementing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and optimize asset performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment failures.
  • Support TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment design and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Manage maintenance documentation and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Required/ Minimum Qualifications :

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).

Experience:

  • 3–5 years in maintenance engineering or reliability engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with TPM, predictive maintenance technologies, and CMMS systems.

Skills:

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, and industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma principles.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or equivalent.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications:

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions specific to manufacturing.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Leadership: Proven leadership and project management abilities. Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work.
