Position Title: Maintenance Planner Construction

MAIN PURPOSE

To plan all preventive, corrective and breakdown construction projects to be executed efficiently in accordance with the site maintenance program ensuring that all materials and spare parts are available when the work is scheduled and that the required resources are available.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, manage, and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance plans for static equipment, infrastructure, and piping systems to ensure asset reliability, availability, and integrity.
  • Review and update maintenance frequencies, inspection scopes, job plans, and technical procedures in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, corporate standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize maintenance programs and reliability strategies based on audit results, performance analysis, Asset Integrity Management (AIM) requirements, and maintenance performance indicators.
  • Coordinate maintenance scheduling activities with Operations, Maintenance, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient work execution while minimizing impacts on production.
  • Coordinate the planning of plant shutdowns, major maintenance activities, and critical work, ensuring alignment between Operations and Maintenance and the availability of required resources.
  • Manage maintenance planning activities within SAP, ensuring the timely availability of materials, spare parts, master data, and resources required to execute maintenance programs.
  • Manage and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for critical equipment and periodically review spare parts inventory parameters to ensure material availability and inventory optimization.
  • Prepare and analyze maintenance performance indicators, identifying improvement opportunities and recommending actions to enhance asset reliability, integrity, and maintenance effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with Site Management System requirements (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, PSM, SARI, NSF, KOSHER, and other applicable standards), the Orbia Asset Integrity Management Standard (PSMS-010-AIM), and all applicable safety requirements related to assigned responsibilities.

Education

Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering.

Knowledge and Experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning, construction, asset integrity, reliability, or industrial maintenance environments.
  • SAP Maintenance Module (PM) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Maintenance planning and scheduling processes.
  • Asset Integrity and Reliability Management principles.
  • ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Process Safety Management (PSM) standards.
  • Maintenance of static equipment, piping systems, infrastructure, and construction activities.
  • Materials management, spare parts control, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Budget monitoring and cost control.
  • Contractor and supplier management.
  • Technical knowledge of welding processes, non-destructive testing (NDT), and equipment repair practices.

Language:

  • English proficiency (B2 level or higher).

Physical requirements for the position such as mobility, vision, strength, etc. (applicable in line with local laws):

  • Ability to move independently throughout industrial facilities and access operating areas, including stairs and elevated structures.
  • Ability to perform field inspections and condition monitoring activities using specialized diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to visually inspect equipment, instrumentation, indicators, and safety signage.
  • Ability to work in industrial environments while using the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
