As a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op, you'll work alongside experienced engineers, quality professionals, and production teams to support real-world projects that directly impact product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and customer satisfaction. What You'll Do

Make an Impact Through Real Engineering Projects

• Lead a project to review and update tolerances on released assembly drawings using SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with Quality, Design Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to ensure design updates meet customer requirements and industry standards.
• Participate in engineering change activities that directly support product performance and manufacturability.

Drive Continuous Improvement

• Partner with manufacturing technicians and engineers to identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects across the production floor.

Turn Data into Decisions

• Collect, organize, and analyze manufacturing data using Minitab, Excel, and other tools.
• Identify trends, investigate production challenges, and help develop solutions that improve quality and productivity.

Create and Improve Documentation

• Develop and update manufacturing documentation, including:
• Work Instructions
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Process Flow Diagrams
• Engineering Change Documentation

Support Manufacturing Operations

• Assist with equipment maintenance, validation, and calibration activities.
• Help ensure manufacturing equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Collaborate Across the Business

• Work closely with teams across Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and R&D.
• Gain exposure to the full product lifecycle and learn how cross-functional teams work together to bring innovative products to market.

Promote a Safe Workplace

• Support a culture of safety by following established policies, procedures, and best practices.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in:
• Manufacturing Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Or a related engineering discipline
• Experience with or willingness to learn SolidWorks and engineering drawing interpretation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Experience using ERP systems or manufacturing software.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
• SolidWorks certification or advanced CAD experience.
