College Graduate – Rotational Engineering Program (REP) - start date July 2027 in HUDSON, NH

Mercury Systems is seeking a recent college graduate to join our Rotational Engineering Program, a dynamic opportunity to develop cutting–edge technology that supports the American Warfighter. As a Manufacturing REP Engineer, you'll join a collaborative team focused on electromechanical assembly of PCBAs. This role offers insight into multiple engineering disciplines within the company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process Development: Design and develop manufacturing processes, procedures, and work instructions to meet product specifications and quality standards for PCBA mechanical assembly
  • Create step-by-step assembly instructions for complex mechanical assemblies and integration of PCBAs into larger systems
  • Equipment Selection and Integration: Evaluate manufacturing equipment and technologies, recommend suitable options, and oversee their integration into production lines
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality team to establish and maintain quality control procedures, including inspection and testing methods
  • Resolve production-related quality issues and implement preventive measures to ensure compliance with industry and customer specifications
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including process specifications, standard operating procedures, and engineering change orders
  • Generate reports on key performance indicators, production metrics, and improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field obtained between May 2026 and June 2027
  • A minimum GPA of 3.1 is required. You will be asked to submit your transcripts during the application process
  • Prior Co-Op or internship experience
  • Electromechanical assembly experience in a production environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Experience working in the defense industry
  • Ability to utilize CAD software for manufacturing fixture design

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and reliability
  • Data analysis skills (Excel, Minitab, or statistical software)
  • Familiarity with IPC standards and industry quality requirements
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies

Pay Grade Range

Fulltime Equivalent Job Grade Salary Range for this position

  • $56,700.00 - $113,400.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in FL, GA, IN, AZ, AL, MD or TX, and all remote employees
  • $63,500.00 - $127,000.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in VA, CA, NH or MA
  • $66,900.00 - $133,800.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in NJ

Additional Information

Mercury considers a variety of factors to determine individual base salary offers to candidates, including:

  • the role and related responsibilities;
  • prior work experience;
  • education, training, skills and certifications;
  • internal equity with others employed by Mercury in similar roles;
  • geographic location; and
  • alignment with market data.
