
Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to lead the design, development, and ramp of cell manufacturing equipment and processes with the cell manufacturing team in Fremont, CA. This role own equipment development for laser welding and assembly processes – leading equipment specification development, equipment design, line layout, installation, commissioning, validation, ramp-up, and handover to production. You will help ensure that our processes and equipment meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and throughput. Your will work closely with internal teams including Product Design, Controls, Operations, EH&S, Quality, and Production Engineering, and will coordinate with equipment suppliers to design and develop manufacturing equipment. This role will be based in Fremont, CA – with some international travel required to visit internal partner teams & external integrators/vendors.

Expected Compensation
$91,600 - $164,400/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
