Job Summary: As a key member of the Constellium Automotive Group Engineering Team, the Manufacturing Engineer Intern will provide support to the Reliability Engineering (RCT) Team, as well as the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, in the execution of strategic operational and continuous improvement initiatives. The intern will be assigned individual and team-based projects focused on improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), driving Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts, enhancing equipment reliability, and supporting manufacturing performance objectives.
The position will involve participating in process standardization projects, developing, and implementing standardized work practices, creating and delivering training materials, and supporting the deployment of best practices across the organization. Additionally, the intern will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing operational and maintenance data, identifying trends, drawing conclusions, and presenting actionable recommendations to improve safety, quality, productivity, and equipment performance.
The role also includes supporting documentation control, maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), assisting with ISO and quality system requirements, and collaborating with engineers on facility layouts, process improvements, and engineering projects that support plant objectives.
