This individual contributor role owns new product execution, scale-up of new formulas and transfer of technology ensuring product launches deliver the quality, value, and experience our customers expect while meeting business objectives for cost and speed to market. The ideal candidate will partner closely with internal teams and third-party manufacturers to tackle complex challenges, optimize production processes, and find opportunities for continuous improvement. From launching new fragrances and body care innovations to improving quality, efficiency, and cost performance, this role has a direct impact on the products our customers love. Responsibilities: Program Execution (70%)

  • Independently manage manufacturing development and scale-up activities involving new formulas and packaging, guaranteeing successful product launches that meet quality, cost, and timing objectives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and complete pilot batches and production line trials with manufacturers, including bulk compounding, filling, labeling, and assembly operations.
  • Evaluate and validate manufacturing processes, equipment, and pack-out operations to ensure operational readiness and the integrity of the product.
  • Partner with Product Development, Research & Development, Packaging Engineering, Quality Engineering, and manufacturing partners to identify manufacturability risks and implement solutions.
  • Lead technology transfer activities and startup support for new products, alternate sourcing initiatives, and manufacturing partners.
  • Assess and qualify alternative raw materials and packaging components to support business continuity, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Lead project meetings and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, progress, and delivery of key achievements.Issue Management (15%)
  • Lead investigation and resolution of manufacturing, quality, and supply issues by coordinating efforts between internal departments and third-party manufacturers.
  • Analyze production, quality, and process data to identify trends, assess risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Proactively identify risks that may impact launch success and develop mitigation plans to support execution.Vendor Performance & Continuous Improvement (15%)
  • Drive continuous improvement and value engineering initiatives focused on cost savings, quality enhancements, lead-time reduction, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with third-party manufacturers to improve process capability, performance, and product quality.
  • Support supplier onboarding, qualification, and performance management activities.
  • Provide recommendations and feedback to support supplier scorecards and improvement plans.

Qualifications

Qualifications• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, product commercialization, or operations.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects and get results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to uncover root causes and implement solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills coupled with the capacity to influence internal and external collaborators.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes, project management, statistical analysis, and GMP environments preferred.
  • Ability to travel 30%-40% domestically and internationally.

Education• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Natural Sciences, or a related technical field.
