The Manufacturing Engineer II supports the design, development, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. This role works with design, production, and other cross-functional teams to support manufacturability, resolve manufacturing issues, and introduce new products and processes while meeting company, industry, and regulatory requirements.
Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
Collaborate with design and production teams to support the manufacturability of new and existing products.
Create andmaintainprocess documentation, including work instructions and manufacturing flow diagrams.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime andmaintainquality standards.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issues.
Identifyand implement cost-saving opportunities whilemaintainingquality and safety requirements.
Support the introduction of new products and processes, including equipment selection, installation, and validation.
Monitor and analyze production data toidentifytrends, improvement opportunities, and areas for process optimization.
Ensure manufacturing processescomply withcompany policies, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Provide training and technical support to production personnel.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or a related engineering field.
2+ years of experience with manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, or soldering.
2+ years of experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
1+ year of experience using CAD software and applying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Experience in aerospace or a related industry.
Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, or equivalent quality standards.
Experience supporting equipmentselection, installation, and validation.
Experience using ERP/MRP systems or data analysis tools.
Six Sigma certification or formal Lean Manufacturing training.
