Additional areas of responsibility include continuous improvement of processes and formulas to deliver cost savings, improved quality, and lead times reductions. Previous experience in personal care formulating or manufacturing is preferred to ensure knowledge of raw materials and processes. This position interfaces internally with Product Development, Research & Development, Packaging and Quality. Responsibilities:Project Execution (80%)Initiate and lead technology transfers to new suppliersOrganize and conduct formula transfers, pilot production (bulk compounding) and line trials (labeling and filling trials) to ensure smooth transition from development to productionAssess and validate filling, labeling and pack-out equipmentAttend and provide input to planning meetingsSupport manufacturing and alternate sourcing strategiesMaintain strong cross-functional relationships with internal and external partners to ensure development timelines can be metIssue Management (10%)Partner and drive issue resolution with internal and external teams to improve output, scrap, etc. Identify and track risk analysis to evaluate production success Vendor Performance/Process Improvements (10%)Initiate, research, and implement value engineering principles to reduce costs, lead time and quality concerns

Qualifications

Qualifications• 0-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, personal care/home fragrance manufacturing experience preferred

• Must demonstrate strong organization skills, problem solving capability and the ability to work through large amounts of data to generate conclusions and develop action plans
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate clearly/concisely through oral and written methods
• Ability to travel 30%-40% domestically and internationally Education• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Physical or Natural Sciences.
