Working across Manufacturing Engineering, Enterprise IT, Edgewing and Air Digital Manufacturing teams, you will help develop digital manufacturing capabilities aligned to programme requirements and enterprise architecture. The successful candidate will contribute to the configuration, integration and deployment of digital manufacturing solutions across manufacturing engineering environments, while supporting tool adoption through effective stakeholder engagement and technical delivery. The role plays a key part in driving continuous improvement, ensuring digital manufacturing tools and processes effectively support current and future manufacturing engineering needs.Core Duties•Support the development and delivery of the Digital Manufacturing Engineering (ME) toolset strategy to enable GCAP programme delivery•Work with delivery teams and stakeholders to develop digital manufacturing capabilities aligned to programme needs and enterprise digital architecture•Collaborate with Enterprise IT, Edgewing, Air Digital Manufacturing Programme teams and Manufacturing Engineering stakeholders to support alignment of toolset plans and deployment activities•Contribute to the development, configuration and deployment of integrated digital manufacturing solutions across manufacturing engineering environments•Support the adoption and continuous improvement of digital manufacturing tools through effective stakeholder engagement, communication and technical deliveryEssential skills•Good knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering processes and digital manufacturing environments•Experience with Manufacturing Engineering toolsets such as process planning, CAM, digital factory simulation, PFMEA, DFM/DFMA and tooling design•Ability to interpret operational requirements and support the development of digital solutions and system requirements•Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across engineering, IT and programme teams•Experience working within complex engineering or manufacturing environments•Ability to support technical problem solving, implementation activities and continuous improvement initiativesThe FCAS Manufacturing Engineering Collaborative Environment TeamThe FCAS Manufacturing Engineering Collaborative Environment team, based at Warton, supports the development and delivery of digital manufacturing capabilities that enable GCAP programme delivery.
