Job Description
Customer Services Package Refurbishment and Upgrades (PRU) Engineering provides engineered solutions supporting the execution of the aftermarket business. The Manufacturing Engineer position focuses on the manufacturability of designs and collaborates closely with Controls Design Engineers and Mechanical Design Engineers within the PRU project team throughout the sales order execution process.
This position works closely with engineering, fabrication, and assembly personnel to ensure that project designs are high quality, safe, and cost-effective. The role often requires independently gathering and analyzing relevant data, identifying project issues, and defining them in engineering terms with minimal technical direction.
The successful candidate must be thorough, organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate concepts and ideas concisely. They must possess the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet various deadlines and project schedule commitments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to keep project team members informed of project-related issues and challenges. Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and a collaborative mindset are also required.
