We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer – Digital Test Lead to drive and execute digital validation activities across the full test lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Teamcenter-based digital validation, 3D digital mockup analysis, and manufacturing processes. This individual is detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in leading digital test execution from planning through closure while ensuring high-quality reporting, stakeholder alignment, and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute the full digital test lifecycle for assigned tests, including planning, execution, reporting, and closure
  • Participate in recurring planning, prioritization, and status meetings to manage test demand and progress
  • Review incoming test requests to confirm scope, data requirements, assumptions, and stakeholder involvement
  • Schedule, lead, and document pre-meetings to ensure alignment on test scope and expectations
  • Coordinate with engineering, requesters, and cross-functional stakeholders to align product data, tooling, and test boundaries
  • Perform digital validation activities including Digital Test Assembly (DTA), Virtual Build (VB), ergonomic assessments, static sequence checks, and accessibility studies
  • Evaluate assembly feasibility, tooling access, fitment, clearance/interference risks, and ergonomic conditions
  • Conduct hand and tool accessibility studies and validate manufacturing process assumptions
  • Prepare, document, and deliver standard digital test reports and presentation materials
  • Log issues, deviations, and findings in internal tracking systems and support resolution through closure
  • Present test results to stakeholders and support decision-making, sign-off, and closure activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including test records, planning notes, and status updates in approved systems
  • Follow established digital testing methodologies and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Ensure traceability of all assigned tests, including issue tracking and closure documentation

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience executing digital test initiatives throughout the full test lifecycle
  • Strong prior experience in Teamcenter-based digital validation and test execution
  • Proficiency in Teamcenter Visualization Mockup and Visualization Jack (Lifecycle Visualization Jack)
  • Demonstrated experience with 3D digital mockup analysis and interpretation of 3D CAD and JT models
  • Expertise in clearance and interference analysis, static assembly sequencing, and accessibility validation
  • Experience conducting ergonomic and manikin-based assessments
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Hands-on experience with assembly fixtures, tightening tools, lifting devices, and related equipment
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to lead meetings and present technical findings
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for documentation and reporting
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tests and priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain alignment with multiple stakeholders
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify and raise process gaps
