We are seeking a mid-level Manufacturing Engineer to support machining, precision manufacturing, process improvement, tooling, quality, and production support activities. This role is focused on improving manufacturing processes, reducing defects, supporting production teams, and helping maintain strong quality standards in an AS9100 environment.
Key Responsibilities

Support machining and precision manufacturing operations by improving process flow, quality, efficiency, and repeatability.

Develop, update, and maintain manufacturing processes, work instructions, routers, tooling plans, and production documentation.

Evaluate production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Support CAPA activities, including investigation, documentation, corrective actions, and effectiveness checks.

Participate in APQP, PFMEA, control plans, and process risk reviews for new and existing products.

Work with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve manufacturing problems.

Support tooling, fixtures, gauges, and process improvements to improve accuracy, throughput, and consistency.

Review drawings, GD&T requirements, specifications, and manufacturing standards to ensure production readiness.

Help drive lean manufacturing initiatives focused on waste reduction, cycle time, flow, quality, and on-time delivery.

Support AS9100 quality system requirements, audits, documentation, and compliance activities.
Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.

3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in machining, precision manufacturing, or a related production environment.

Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, fixtures, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation.

Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and production support.

Working knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, CAPA, control plans, or similar quality and process improvement tools.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and quality requirements.

Experience supporting cross-functional teams across production, quality, engineering, and operations.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Experience

Background with CNC machining, high-tolerance parts, inspection processes, first article inspection, or supplier quality.

Experience improving cycle times, reducing scrap, improving throughput, and standardizing production processes.
