The Manufacturing Engineer position will provide machining engineering support and guidance across production—balancing cost, velocity, quality, safety, and environmental compliance while improving equipment and processes. You’ll help identify and implement process enhancements, monitor reliability, and drive execution of engineering and process changes that strengthen day to day manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy projects and provide support of Machining Manufacturing Engineering to Caterpillar Facilities.

• Participating in identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes.

• Providing engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities.

Education requirements

  • A bachelor’s or engineering degree is required.
  • English proficiency for technical documentation and cross‑site collaboration. is required

Skills you will have

Machining Solutions (essential):

  • Understanding G&M code programming, types of NC controls.
  • Understanding of CAM (Computer-Aided Machining)
  • Knowledge of GD&T, print reading and modeling.
  • Discusses key considerations and issues in machining processes.
  • Understanding of machining processes (process design, execution and control).
  • Experience with different Machining Center Controls.

Problem Solving:

  • Resolve technical problems and give technical support.
  • Ability to support multi‑shift operations and on‑floor troubleshooting.

Lean Manufacturing

  • Working knowledge with Manufacturing Cells preferred.

Manufacturing Processes

  • Exposure to Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, or smart factory technologies
  • Manufacturing experience within automotive, heavy equipment, or high‑volume production environments.

Additional Information

  • Position is in Cienega de Flores, Nuevo León. On-site.
  • Work schedule is set Monday to Friday (7am to 5pm)
  • Travel may require up to 25% (international and domestic)
  • No domestic relocation bonus.
