A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Provide production support for implantable defibrillator and pacemaker products.
• Monitor and improve the performance of the manufacturing processes he is responsible for.
• Design or adapt manufacturing processes and inspection systems to production condition.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects related to Quality and Productivity.
• Commission equipment including process validation and definition of SPC.
• Define manufacturing Work Instructions and train Manufacturing collaborators.
• Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
• Owns problems from end-to-end, manage complexity, and interact directly with stakeholders to understand and minimize any impact to the business.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, in Mechanical Engineering, Automation or related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience within the MedTech industry or other regulated environment
• Experience with process validation, problem solving, critical thinking and 6-sigma
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate changes
• Team player, comfortable in a cross-cultural, multitasking environment
• Fluency in both English, and French

Pay range / Rango salarial / Intervalo salarial /Fascia retributiva / Tranche de salaire / Gehaltsband / Salaribereik: Switzerland: 92,000.00 CHF - 138,000.00 CHF | This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
