A Day in the Life

We are seeking a skilled and motivated engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing vision systems enhancements, as well as leading cost savings initiatives.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Identify, code and implement vision systems manufacturing enhancements.
  • Analyze production data, identify impactors and lead cost down reduction initiatives.
  • Perform engineering studies and implement equipment or process modifications to meet quality standards, improve productivity and reduce cost for market release products.
  • Perform Installation Qualification, Test Method Validation or Operational Performance Qualification validation activities on existing manufacturing processes.
  • Support, when required, root cause analysis investigations to mitigate manufacturing issues.
  • Collaborate with Reliability, Design and Manufacturing teams to assess and implement changes.
  • Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Microtechnology, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally in a regulated industry (MedTech, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or high‑precision manufacturing)
  • Solid knowledge of manufacturing and industrialization processes (assembly processes, special processes, automation, and process validation)
  • Good understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and structured problem‑solving
  • Experience with process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and familiarity with medical device regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, GMP)
  • Ability to analyze manufacturing data and drive improvements in quality, cost, and delivery performance
  • Experience managing technical projects and collaborating with cross‑functional teams (R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations)
  • Proficiency with manufacturing and data analysis tools (ERP, MES, statistical tools; experience with Minitab is an advantage)
  • Strong analytical skills, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent in French with a good professional level of English
