The Technical Part:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering & two (2) years of relevant experience within the Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English).
  • Shift: Administrative, and according to business needs.
  • Experience in:
    • Manufacturing processes and equipment troubleshooting.
    • Quality Systems (CAPA, Deviations, and Investigations)
    • Engineering Operations, Manufacturing Operations, Failure mode (CMMS Systems, Work Orders Approval, Closing, PM strategy, spare parts).

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL: (The day-to-day on the job)

  • Resource should be capable of resolving equipment-related problems by using technical skills to analyze the condition, understand variables that impact the process, and propose and resolve issue.
  • Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Under general supervision, will evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, basic principles, and procedures.
  • Function as a technical expert in processing equipment and/or systems during troubleshooting operations and multi-functional discussions.
  • Routinely audit the operational performance and regulatory compliance of a moderate number of equipment items or systems of significant complexity.
  • Work with research, manufacturing, maintenance, process development, utilities, facilities, quality assurance, and/or validation departments.
  • Work under the direct supervision of project managers to complete design, engineering, and construction projects within schedule and budget constraints.
  • Work with consultants, architects, and engineering firms on the development of standard design documents.
  • Generate rudimentary project cost estimates and schedules.
  • Obtain and critique quotes for equipment modifications or installations.
