Manufacturing Director (Lead Manufacturing Engineer) Metals Industry

Working location: 30% in Singapore, 70% in China

Location: AMK

Salary Range: Up to $12,000

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Metal Manufacturing to lead our production operations across one or more facilities. This role oversees all aspects of metal processing and fabrication, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate has deep experience in metal manufacturing processes and a proven ability to lead large teams and complex operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end manufacturing process
• Drive operational excellence through the implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and company standards.
• Optimize production planning, scheduling, and resource utilization to meet customer demand and quality requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering.
• Collaborate other divisions to align manufacturing with strategic objectives.
• Ensure consistent compliance with relevant industry standards.
• Identify and implement automation, digitization, and smart factory solutions to modernize operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in metal manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong track record in leading large-scale manufacturing teams, process optimization, and cost control.
• Exposure to international operations or multi-site management.
