Horse Powertrain Limited is an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero.

Horse Powertrain has 19,000 dedicated and determined employees, working in 17 manufacturing plants, and 5 R&D centers on three continents. This role is employed by Horse Powertrain Ltd and is based at head office in London, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will be doing

• Define & deploy Manufacturing performance frameworks (budget/forecast).

• Monitor costs, productivity & operational efficiency across plants.

• Deliver analysis for decisions, risks & corrective actions.

• Lead cost studies (wages, energy, scrap, in-house/out-house).

• Consolidate KPIs (Manufacturing, SC, Process Engineering).

• Ensure internal control compliance & reporting consistency.

• Partner with Manufacturing leaders on strategy & value creation.

• Coordinate, challenge & develop plant controlling teams.
  

What we’re looking for

• A proven track record in industrial controlling and manufacturing cost analysis; experience driving budget, forecast and KPI performance in a multi-plant environment.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.

• Excellent skills in financial analysis and performance management; advanced use of Excel (SAP is a plus).

• Strong competencies in data-driven decision making and problem solving, with a collaborative approach.

• Knowledge of the automotive sector or industrial/manufacturing environment.

• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; additional languages are a plus.
