
You will lead the planning and implementation of start-up activities to achieve projectsuccesscriteria and ramp upglide paths on scheduleandat budgetwhilstprovidingcoordinationwith other key project elements/interfaces.

You will
Become familiar with the project scope and collect preliminary information to begin developing the start-up plan. Develop a team charter and an effective communication process.
Identifystart-up implementation strategies,ensure that current operation assessment is developed and implemented. Ensure that a process for change management and reapplication of learnings isdeveloped and used.Develop issue identification & resolution process.Provide direction, consistency and focusalongsidetraining and coaching on start-up processes.Build capability within the team onlean manufacturing start up processes.
Define the project’s criteria and start-up glide path and obtain approval from manufacturing management.Attend Factory Acceptance Tests(FAT) for key equipment(s)
Develop pre-commissioning and commissioning plans,identifyingcritical process and quality elements. Mapping of the activities within each phaseand defining their pre-requisites.
Evaluate site specific risks to implementation and initiate action to resolve.Contribute towards effective FMEA processes and site acceptance tests (SAT).Report project adherence to rampup criteria tostakeholders.
Develop technology, training & transfer planalongside autonomous maintenance, planned maintenance,training, focused improvement, quality and safety teams with clear roles and responsibilities for delivery.
Identifya hiring strategy where necessaryand ensure materials quantity and quality are developed and aligned withstart upneeds.
Develop a resource allocation planin line with theproject’simplementation schedule.
Measure and record results on project progressand presentwithin project team and to key stakeholders.
Ensure project start up budgets are developed and controlled.
