Job Description

Job Objective

The CCTV Control Room Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the CCTV control room, ensuring continuous monitoring of all surveillance systems, coordinating responses to security incidents, managing control room staff, and maintaining compliance with company policies,GMP requirements, and security protocols. The role ensures the protection of personnel, assets, and property across all facilities

Internal: General Services-Maintenance, IT, Warehouse, Quality, Laband PLC departments.

External: External Vendors.

Key responsibility

Control Room Operations Monitoring

Supervise the operation of CCTV systems across all facilities, ensuring 24/7 surveillance

coverage.

Monitor live feeds, alarms, and security alerts; ensure timely detection of any suspicious, unsafe, or non-compliant activities.

Ensure all camera systems, NVRs, access control points, and monitoring equipment are functioning correctly.

Team Leadership & Supervision

Lead and manage CCTV Operators; organize duty rosters and shift plans.

Provide training, coaching, and performance assessments for control room staff.

Enforce discipline, compliance, and operational standards among team members.

Incident Response & Coordination

Act as the central communication point for all security-related events.

Coordinate with security guards, facility supervisors, and the Security Manager to handle incidents.

Escalate critical events immediately following the escalation hierarchy.

Document all incidents, breaches, and irregularities in the daily control room logbook.

Compliance & Documentation

Ensure compliance with internal security procedures, access control rules, and GMP regulations within controlled areas.

Maintain accurate records of incidents, shift reports, equipment maintenance, and system audits.

Ensure video footage is archived according to company retention policies.

Guarantee that surveillance complies with data privacy and legal standards.

System Maintenance & Technical Coordination

Perform daily equipment functionality checks and escalate any issues to IT or technical service providers.

Follow up on repairs, upgrades, or maintenance of CCTV systems and monitoring infrastructure.

Assist insetting new security technologies or system integrations.

Security Enhancement & Risk Prevention

Identify blind spots, technical vulnerabilities, or coverage gaps; propose improvement actions.

Participate in security risk assessments and facility inspections.

Support crisis management, emergency response operations, and evacuation procedures.

Academic experience required

Associate degree required; bachelor's degree in management, IT, Telecommunications, or an equivalent field is preferred.

Professional Experience Required

2-3 years of experience in security operations or CCTV control rooms.

Previous supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.

Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or high-security environments is an asset.

Computing Skills

Knowledge of CCTV systems, NVRs, access control, and intrusion detection systems.

Computer literacy and familiarity with control room software.

Personal Skills

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Excellent observational and situational awareness skills.

Ability to handle incidents calmly and professionally.

Report writing, documentation accuracy, and communication skills.

Integrity, confidentiality, and high work ethic.

Languages

Good in Arabic and English

Grifols Egypt for plasma derivatives is a joint-venture (JV) company between the Egyptian Government, through the National Service Projects Organization (NSPO) and Grifols, the global leader in plasma medicines with more than 110 years of contribution to improving the health and well-being of people.

This joint venture is the first of its kind in the plasma industry and the first-ever Egyptian source member of the Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association (PPTA). GEPD is a groundbreaking global public-private alliance that will benefit the entire region.

GEPD is committed to developing the plasma medicines market and achieving self-sufficiency in these critical therapies, which is crucial for the Egyptian healthcare system.

We are combining the expertise of both shareholders to build and operate 20 plasma donation centers throughout Egypt, along with manufacturing facilities including fractionation, purification, and fill-and-finish plants with a processing capacity of up to 1 million liters of plasma annually that can double in the future.

The new manufacturing facility will include a plasma warehouse and a testing laboratory. It will occupy 105,000 square meters strategically located in the administrative capital’s medical city, adjoining various healthcare institutions.
